Library Card
Obtaining a library card allows you not only to check out books from our collection, but it offers many other benefits.
Available Materials
As you can imagine, we offer a wide selection of books for all ages, but we also have other resources available for checkout.
Libby and Overdrive
One of the benefits of having a Gering Public Library card is that is gives you access to a large database of ebooks and audiobooks.
Checkout and Overdues
When you have found the items that you want, our friendly staff will check them out to you at the circulation desk.
Interlibrary Loan
Wanting to read a book but we don’t have it here? We can request it from another library.

At our Maker Space, members can utilize special design tools to make crafts for your event, party, or whatever you need them for.
Homebound Delivery
Do you live in Gering but are unable to visit the library? Click below for details or call the library to see if you qualify for home delivery.
Panhandle Consortium
Having a GPL card not only allows you to check out books from our library but from 12 other libraries in the panhandle.
Damaged Items
If items you have checked out are returned damaged, they will be assessed to determine if they can be returned to the shelves.
