
Who can use them?
The computers are available to anyone who wishes to use them, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Do I need a library card to use the computers?
No. Anyone can use the computers without a GPL card.
How do I access the computers?
Visit the circulation desk to get a computer code. You will enter that code on the initial login screen and tap Enter until you reach the home screen.
Is there a time limit on using the computers?
Yes. At the one hour mark, you will be automatically logged off. If you know in advance that you will need more time, the staff may be able to assist you. You can also request a second login to get back on for another hour.
Can I call in advance to reserve a computer?
No. Computers are available to patrons who visit the library on a first-come, first-served basis.
Can I print from the computers?
Yes. You can print documents to a black and white printer that is behind the circulation desk. The cost for printing is 15¢ per page for black & white, 25¢ per page for two-sided black & white, 50¢ per page for color and 75¢ per page for two-sided color.
Will my information be saved after I log out or my time expires?
No. Users who wish to save their work should do so on a personal storage device before the end of their allotted time. A limited number of USB storage drives are available at the front desk for temporary storage of files.
Are there computers for kids and teens?
Yes. We have two computers in our Children’s Space dedicated for use by kids and two computers in our Teen Zone for older kids. We have five computers designated for adults.
