BEAM Projector

What is a BEAM Projector?

A BEAM is an interactive projector that transforms a mat on the floor into an interactive game-play surface for educational games.

Who can use the BEAM?

Any age can play learning games using the BEAM. The games that are available for use on our BEAM are designed for ages 3-7. You do not need a library card to use the BEAM.

How do you play that games?

The BEAM projects the games onto the floor, making it like a touchscreen. Your feet then become the stylus for selecting items, popping bubbles, and much more.

What if the BEAM is not on when I arrive?

If the BEAM has not been turned on, check with library staff to see if there is a problem or if the projector was just left off to save energy and the life of the machine.
