Builders Club (previously LEGO Club) is designed for *kids 8+ to build and experiment with LEGO bricks and more. Each month we will have different building challenges and structured STEM activities. *Kids under age 8 are welcome as long as they are accompanied by a parent.

The American Library Association Youth Media Awards are presented this year on January 26th. In anticipation of those awards, we are hosting a YOUTH BOOK AWARDS PARTY on Friday, January 23rd, at 3PM. We have some really fun things planned for this event! This event will be geared toward 3rd through 12th graders.

Our Teen Dungeons & Dragons group is open to students in 6th through 12th grade. The group meets after school at 3pm on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month. Tabletop roleplaying games like D&D encourage creativity, problem-solving, and social skills.

Gering Library continues its partnership with Scott Free Brewing for Pints & Plot Twists, a true crime book club. The next meeting is on February 10th, at 6:30pm, at 1032 O Street in Gering. This month’s book is “Hell in the Heartland” by Jax Miller.
