DESCRIPTION:At the first Teen (6th – 12th grade) event of this year’s Summer Reading Program\, participants will be given the chance to compete in Mario Kart on different consoles through the history of Nintendo (including Super Nintendo\, N64\, GameCube\, Wii\, Wii2\, Switch\, and Switch 2). \nThis will be a terrific opportunity to see how the popular franchise has evolved over the years\, but mostly it will be lots and lots of fun! \nA meal will be served at 5pm for those who wish to stay once the competition is over.

SUMMARY:Imposter in the Stacks
DESCRIPTION:Imposter in the Stacks is a live-action version of the popular game Among Us. Participants will be designated as either a crewmate or an imposter. Crewmates will be given specific tasks to complete while Imposters will be given a false task list and will instead attempt to eliminate the Crewmates without being caught and voted out. This event will take place at the library after hours on Friday\, June 12th\, from 5-7pm. We will have a meal provided at 5pm and the event will begin at 5:30pm.

SUMMARY:Jurassic Darts
DESCRIPTION:Teens (6th through 12th grade) will be divided between scientists and dinosaurs. The scientists have captured the dinosaurs’ eggs and the dinos want them back. The scientists will be confined to specific locations but will be have NERF guns. The dinos will have to avoid the darts of the scientists and make it to the nest of eggs\, recovering one egg at a time and returning it to their home base. Jurassic Darts will take place at Legion Park on June 26th at 3pm. \nA snack will be provided.
