DESCRIPTION:Join Ms. Hayley in the Children’s section on Wednesdays at 10am during Summer Reading for stories\, songs\, and activities\, followed by time to play! Story time can help children build their vocabulary\, speaking and storytelling skills\, letter knowledge\, and love of books. Story time includes… books\, songs & rhymes\, finger plays\, & felt boards. Stick around after the stories for social playtime with hands-on activities and educational toys. Story time is designed for children ages 0-6\, accompanied by an adult. Contact hgrams@geringlibrary.org with any questions. \n\nOur first Summer Reading Story Time is “Dino Dig.”

DESCRIPTION:Ashley Fenning is teaching Tai Chi for Health (Tai Chi for Energy) on Wednesdays in two different locations: \nOne class will be offered at the Yoga Collective from 11am to noon and the other at the Gering Public Library\nfrom 1-2pm from February 18th through June 1st. Classes are limited to 15 participants and are already full. \n* There is a one-time $30 fee\, which will go toward Ashley’s training costs. \nCall the library or visit the circulation desk to be put on a waiting list for a future class.
