SUMMARY:Creative Aging in the Arts
DESCRIPTION:Because of a grant we received\, Yelena Khanevskaya will be teaching a class called “Sharing the Greetings.” Participants will learn the history of printmaking and the linocut technique. By the end of the series they will have created a handmade “stamp” to make personalized greeting cards. Classes run from March 5-April 23 (Thursdays) from 3:00 pm -5:00 pm. Each class builds on the one before so it’s important to be able to attend the classes. This class is free and open to people age 55 and older. We have a limited number of spots available\, so don’t wait too long to sign up.
